Membership

We encourage you to support Sunrise Community Link by taking out an individual or organizational membership.

Individual memberships are $10.00 each.

Institutional memberships are $25.00 for organizations with annual budgets under $250,000.00 and $50.00 for organizations with annual budgets over $250,000.00.

Memberships can be purchased in cash or 100% Calgary Dollars.

Fundraising

You can help to support Sunrise's important work by making a one-time financial donation or by becoming an enduring supporter through our automatic debit plan (a great way to make a tremendous annual impact with a small monthly donation). We accept cash, cheques and credit cards and issue charitable tax receipts for donations. For more information, or to make a donation, please call (403) 204-8280 or email info@sunriselink.org.

If you can, we encourage you to organize an event to raise funds for Sunrise. 

Sunrise also takes donations on non-perishable food items for their emergency food hampers. Items can be dropped off at the Sunrise office.

Volunteer

Like any community organization, we depend upon the kind hearts and hard work of many volunteers. Our volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds and bring with them a wealth of experience, knowledge and skills. There are many areas within the organization that volunteer participation is vital, including reception, the Board of Directors, special events, and food bank pick-ups. Volunteering at Sunrise is a challenging and rewarding experience. It offers individuals the opportunity to do important community work, learn new skills, and build new relationships.
